Something I've been kinda wondering: What exactly defines an "unstable" fusion? (I haven't watched Steven Universe in a while.)


I'm asking both out of sheer curiosity and fascination and because I'm writing a fanfic where these two fuse (though using my own OC rather than Enigma). I imagine it being where Geno tries to leave, but Dimentio forces him to stay, and the fusion doesn't split apart until Geno's friends beat it to a pulp.
